Skincare Items I Love To Use: Rosehip Oil

Using Sky Organics Rosehip Oil.

On a blog post I shared back in January I stated that I wanted to share additional skincare items that I use in my routine, which I hope will be helpful to you. You can click here to read that post. Today’s item I will be talking about is Rosehip Oil, keep reading to find more about me using this oil in my skincare routine.

What Is Rosehip Oil ?

Rosehip oil is pressed from the small bright-red berry-like seed of two types of wild roses. Since the berry is bright red orange that’s where the color of the oil comes from. This oil has nourishing vitamins and essential fatty acids. It also has antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal properties.

Here are a few ways on how using rosehip oil can benefit you:

1. Hydrates skin.

2. Moisturizes skin.

3. Helps exfoliate and brightens skin.

4. Protects against sun damage.

5. Helps reduce hyperpigmentation.

6. Helps reduce the appearance of scars and fine lines.

Using Rosehip Oil

I use this oil during the day and night in my routine. After washing and drying my face. I add a drop or two of rosehip oil to my moisturizer and rub it into my face. I also use my rose quartz face roller which helps my skin to absorb the rosehip oil.

There’s also no specific rosehip oil brand that I use, although in the past when I’d go to Marshall’s or Burlington I would buy some from there which wasn’t no particular brand. Recently I bought some from Wal-Mart by Sky Organics, which I am loving, it’s affordable and worth checking out. Click here to read more about this brand’s rosehip oil.

Rosehip Oil has many great benefits and if you are looking to add this oil to your skincare routine I recommend it. If you already use rosehip oil or you’re deciding to buy some let me know in the comments. Thanks for reading, see you next time.
