Today’s post will be my one month review on using Rihanna’s Fenty Skin products. I like trying new skin products if I feel that it could be beneficial. To me trying new skin care products is kind of like a trial and error process, because you want to find the right products for your skin. So of course I had to support my girl Rihanna and buy this skin care line. I have combination skin, which means my T-Zone (Forehead, Nose, and Chin) is oily and my cheeks and/or Jawline is dry or normal, but mine are typically dry. Also with having combination skin, I am prone to hormonal acne, which sometimes leave me with dark spots, so these are things I keep in mind when I am looking for new skin care products. Before I hop into my review, I just want to say that I am not a beauty or skin care expert or professional, just giving my honest review on these products.
Price & Packaging
Okay so the three Fenty Skin products that are offered range from $25-$35 or you can get all three products in a bundle, which is called The Fenty Skin Start’Rs for $75. I think that both the single prices and the bundle are reasonable prices for it to be this brand, so I was okay with spending the amount that I did. You’ll use the products in the following order: Total Cleans’r, Fat Water Toner, and Hydra Moisturizer.
The packaging is nice and simple. The bottles are a neutral color, which I think are a great aesthetic. They’re also eco-friendly and were made from recycled materials, which is amazing. As I pointed out the bottles are simple. To open or to use the bottles, just involve a simple twist. No caps to take off, no worries about losing your cap or breaking, just simple and easy to use.
Total Cleans’r Remove It All Cleanser
This is a 2-in-1 makeup remover cleanser cream that removes dirt, oil, and long wear makeup without stripping or drying the skin. ( Description is from Fenty Skin website.)
Price: $25

My Thoughts
I loved using this because just like the other two products in this line, a little goes a long way. You don’t have to use much. The product comes out creamy, but after you rub it into your face with water it becomes a nice, lather and after using the cleanser, my face felt fresh and clean. Plus my skin did not feel tight, which sometimes happen after I’ve used cleansing products in the past. I haven’t used this product while having makeup on my face, I usually wipe off my makeup before using the cleanser, and it worked great. I also loved that this product didn’t have much of a scent, its neutral so this wouldn’t be a problem for those with sensitive skin. I really liked using this product.
Fat Water Pore Defining Toner Serum
This is a 2-in-1 toner serum combo that targets pores, improves the look of dark spots, brightens, smooths, and fights shine- all without stripping skin. ( Description is from Fenty Skin website.)
Price: $28
My Thoughts
When I saw the words ‘Reduces the look of dark spots” I was sold. That’s probably one of my biggest problems with my skin, having dark spots from acne. So I was excited to try this product. Another thing I love about the Fat Water Toner Serum is the texture. It pours into your hand and you’re able to rub it into your face without having to use a cotton pad (Nicee). This serum is my favorite of the three products. I’m always excited to use this product when I do my daily routine. After using this for a month I can see that my dark spots are becoming less visible (Yayyy !). This serum also has a neutral scent, another positive.
Hydra Vizor Invisible Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen
This 2-in-1 moisturizer and sunscreen is lightweight, oil free, and truly invisible on all skin tones. It claps back at dehydration, discoloration, dark spots. Makeup friendly, too. No pilling and zero flashback. ( Description is from Fenty Skin website.)
Price: $35 // Refill: $30
My Thoughts
This moisturizer also brightens skin and helps in the fading of dark spots, so this product along with the Fat Water contributed to the reduce of dark spots on my face. I do love that this moisturizer has a refillable cartridge so when its all gone, just take it out, and replace it with a new one. This moisturizer is the only one out of the three with a scent, which smells like berries. The scent is nice, and I didn’t mind it, but again that could be a problem for those with sensitive skin. There were a few times where I did apply makeup after using this product and I didn’t have any problems with my makeup, which was good.

The Verdict
I would definitely order again from Fenty Skin when the time comes. As I stated before I did see progress in my skin during the one month that I’ve used it, which is exciting. But I would most likely just buy the Cleanser and the Fat Water toner, since they were my favorites to use and they both had a neutral scent. Although I didn’t break out from the moisturizer, I could probably find an alternate option. These products are worth checking out if you haven’t purchased them yet. I can’t wait to see the end results after I’ve used all of the products up, which I will provide an updated review when that time comes. Thank you for checking out my one month review on the Fenty Skin products, until next time !
