Dining At Ocean Paradise Restaurant & Bar

IMG_9365

The first time my brother took my siblings and I to this restaurant was last year, which we enjoyed the food. Every now and then when we have a taste for their “Yummy Sauce” we go to Ocean Paradise. The food here range from seafood boils to fried seafood, I love both, but my siblings and I usually get the “create your own” boil, which includes: sausage, corn on the cob, and red potatoes ( eggs are extra), I substitute my sausage for extra potatoes lol . Also the potatoes that I had recently were a little hard in the middle (like they should’ve been cooked a little longer) but of course I was able to eat most of it, and this was my only issue, which wasn’t bad. I just wanted to inform you, just in case you happen to get a potato or two like this. You also have to select a minimum of 2 half pound items, which includes Blue Crab, Shrimp, and Crawfish, to name a few. I usually get half pound of Blue Crab and half pound of shrimp or sometimes I just get a pound of shrimp. Then you get to choose your sauce for your boil bag and how spicy you want it, for me I like the yummy sauce and I like it mild. The drinks here were pretty good too, they taste like your average alcohol beverage, so they’re not nasty. I’ve only tried a few of the drinks off the menu, so there’s’ more for me to try lol. I like my drinks to be sweet, but you can still taste the alcohol.

Create Your Own Boil: A pound of Shrimp, Potatoes, Corn on the Cob ( Mild, Yummy sauce)

Are you a Seafood lover ? If you are, I would check this place out if you happen to visit Jacksonville, FL. The food is good, the prices are reasonable, and the sauce is my absolute favorite. As always, thank you for reading.. Until next time !
