Review By Me
MCU’s 22nd film, Avengers: Endgame was released this past weekend and in less than a week, this film has made an estimated $1.2 billion at the worldwide box office for its opening and will continue to break records. At last Marvel fans, the most anticipated movie of the year is out, and is everything we could hope for. Just as Marvel fans and I have anticipated Infinity War, Endgame is no different. In Infinity War, the Avengers and their allies are trying to stop Thanos from collecting the Infinity Stones, which wasn’t successful; Thanos snapped away half the universe after getting the stones; In Endgame, the Avengers and their allies plan is to find Thanos, undo what he has done and defeat him….For me sitting in the movie theater waiting for the movie to start, had me feeling anxious, because you don’t know how the movie will come on; This movie had me on the edge of my seat — Not in a horror movie thriller type way, but in a way where you have this built up anticipation and you are excited yet anxious not knowing what will happen next. If you are Marvel fan, then you’ve become familiar with these characters, these heroes; they become apart of you, being emotionally invested in these movies and characters is an amazing thing. I also love that the cast has this great family bond on and off screen, which you can see throughout the movie; The acting is strong and every time you see them just reminds you why you fell in love with the characters, the actors, and the movies. Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, and Jeremy Renner, yes the original 6: The Avengers, gave some emotionally charged and funny performances; And with Endgame concluding the first three phases it’s no surprise. Plus what’s a MCU movie without a few funny scenes. MCU movies are also great on the action and special effects; I mean come on from Thanos himself to the great fight scenes, what’s not to enjoy watching. Avengers: Endgame is an epic, emotional, exciting and amazing experience. Over 10 years leading up to this, the fans got the movie we’ve been anticipating., including a few surprises (yes surprises). I cried several times during the film, I cheered, and laughed –This movie was definitely an emotional roller coaster. Endgame is a great conclusion to wrap up the first three phases of the MCU movies.. It does saddens me to see this concluding the first ten years of the MCU, but makes me happy and excited for the future movies that will be released. I loved Endgame, and it is one of my favorite movies in the MCU; So yes, three thousand times yes (did you catch the Endgame reference ? lol), I recommend you to see Avengers: Endgame — And if you are a Marvel fan, then I’m sure by now you’ve seen the movie, and if you have let me know what you think in the comments below; And if you haven’t seen it, then what are you waiting for lol ? As always thanks for reading !
